Dieter Ambrosius      

Geboren 1947 in Berlin, aufgewachsen im Stadtteil Kreuzberg, 1967 Abitur,  Studium an  der  Freien Universität Berlin. Als Pädagoge tätig, Studiendirektor, Leiter des Fachbereichs Gesellschaftswissenschaften eines Bildungszentrums in Berlin. Kurator und Autor  zeitgeschichtlicher Ausstellungen, so der zweisprachigen Wanderausstellung  „Polen und Deutsche – verwandter, als es manchem gefällt“, gezeigt 1996-2011 an 23 Ausstellungsorten in Polen und Deutschland. Ich male seit 1981, bin Autodidakt.  Mein Werkverzeichnis zählt derzeit 85 Bilder.

Ausstellungen

2018, 2019 und 2020 nahm ich  am „Lichtenrader Kunstfenster“ teil. Geschäftsleute öffnen dort ihre Schaufenster im September für Künstler; „a local event“.

März und April 2020: „Special Guest“ der Ausstellung „Lichtenrader Frühling“ von  Horst Zeitler mit drei Bildern zum Gedenken an den Mauerfall vor 30 Jahren.

Oktober 2020: Erste eigene Werkschau mit zehn Gemälden unter dem Titel „Politische Bilder“ im Bürgerbüro Lichtenrade in Berlin.

2021: Im September -während der Pandemie- gelang es mit gutem Besuch die Ausstellung  „Kunst aus Groß Kienitz“   mit 15 Bildern zu präsentieren.  

März 2022:  Die Trilogie „Wolken der Wünsche“ hängt seither als Dauerleihgabe im  Paul Löbe Haus des Deutschen Bundestags– im Büro einer Abgeordneten.

Mai 2022 : Erste Ausstellung in der Galerie Gustav von Hirschheydt, Berlin, Wielandstraße nahe Kurfürstendamm: 11 Bildern zum „globalen Dorf“ HEIMAT

Dezember ’22: Teilnahme an der Jahresausstellung aller Künstler der City-Galerie Gustav von H.  mit zwei Bildern aus Brandenburg.

Das Bild „Jezioro Wolsztinskie“ (Wolsztyner See) wurde in Polen 2018 versteigert. 2023  folgten zwei weitere Gemälde der Trilogie als karitativen Versteigerung

April ’23: „Wie lange gibt es noch Leben im Meer ?“   Cityausstellung wieder bei  Gustav v. Hirschheydt  zum Thema  Plastikmüll  mit 13 Bildern.

Mai ’23: „Plastikmüll in den Meeren“ wurde danach in Stettin international präsentiert auf der ersten deutsch-polnischen Distrikt Konferenz der Rotarier.

September 2023: Das „Lichtenrade Kunstfenster“ öffnete wieder nach der Pandemie. Drei Gemälde nahmen in der Bahnhofstraße wieder an der lokalen Veranstaltung teil.

Urodzony w 1947 roku w Berlinie, dorastał w dzielnicy Kreuzberg, matura 1967, studiował politologię i geografię na Wolnym Uniwersytecie w Berlinie.  Pracował jako pedagog, kierownik studiów, kierownik działu nauk społecznych w szkole im. Gustava Heinemanna w Berlinie oraz kurator – częściowo autor – wystaw z zakresu historii współczesnej, takich jak dwujęzyczna wystawa objazdowa „Polska i Niemcy – bardziej powiązane niż niektórzy by chcieli“, pokazywana w latach 1996-2011 w 23 miejscach wystawowych w Polsce i Niemczech. Maluję od 1981 roku i jestem samoukiem. Mój katalog raisonné obejmuje obecnie 82 obrazy.

Wystawy

W latach 2018, 2019 i 2020 brałem udział w „Oknie Sztuki w Lichtenradzie“ z kilkoma obrazami. Przedsiębiorcy otworzyli tam swoje witryny sklepowe dla artystów w miesiącu wrześniu.

W marcu i kwietniu 2020 roku byłem „gościem specjalnym“ wystawy „Lichtenrader Frühling“ artysty i kolegi Zeitlera z trzema obrazami z okazji upadku muru 30 lat temu.

Następnie, w październiku 2020 roku, odbył się pokaz prac z dziesięcioma „obrazów politycznych“ odbył się w biurze obywatelskim Lichtenrade w Berlinie.

W 2021 roku, we wrześniu, podczas pandemii z dobrą frekwencją, wystawa „Sztuka z Groß Kienitz“ tamże i pokaz 15 obrazów. 

Marzec 2022: Trylogia „Chmury pragnień“ wisi na stałe wypożyczona w Niemieckim Bundestagu – w biurze poselskim.

Maj 2022 : Wystawa w Galerii Gustava von Hirschheydta, Berlin, Wielandstraße koło Kurfürstendamm z 11 obrazami.

Grudzień ’22 : Udział w dorocznej wystawie wszystkich artystów galerii von Hirschheydt z dwoma obrazami.

Krok w publiczność rozpoczął się od pierwszej charytatywnej aukcji obrazu „Jezioro Wolsztyńskie 1“ na Balu Rotary Club 2018. Dopiero w lutym ‚2023 udało się przekazać Rotary Club Wolsztyn kolejne dwa obrazy z trylogii.

Kwiecień ’23: Wystawa „Jak długo będzie życie w morzu ?“  W Galerii Gustav v. Hirschheydt znajduje się 13 obrazów na ten temat, w tym dziewięć z roku 2022/23.

Ta wystawa dotycząca problemu ekologicznego będzie również prezentowana Rotarianom z obu krajów na pierwszej niemiecko-polskiej konferencji dystryktu w Szczecinie w maju 2023 r.

Born 1947 in Berlin (West), grown up in Berlin-Kreuzberg, I passed my A-level 1967.  Studies in politics and geography at „Free University Berlin“ followed. As teacher and head of department of social sciences in a Berlin high school, I worked in team as author und curator of current history exhibitions.  A bilingual historical exhibition presenting studies about Poles and Germans, „having a lot in common in their history“ became well known. It was shown between 1996-2011 in 23 places in both countries.

With Oil painting I began in 1981 as autodidact. Meanwhile looking back on 85 peaces, see me as follower of  „Virtual Realism“ and „Re-Enactments“. Actual paintings expresses social and ecological problems, specially about prevention of plastic littering in the waters.

Exhibitions

2018, 2019 and 2020 I took part in the event called „Lichtenrader Kunstfenster“ . It is a local initiative. Shops and stores open their shop windows to present the painters art for the people in the south of Berlin.  A kind of Street-Art.

In March and April 2020 I was „special guest“ in the exhibition „Lichtenrader Frühling“ with three of my paintings about the Wall and the reunification of Germany 30 years before.

Oktober 2020 I had my first work show of ten paintings called „ Political Pictures“ in a public showroom in Berlin.

In September 2021 -during pandemic times- it was possible, to show the exhibition „Kunst aus Groß Kienitz“ with 15 oil pantings, quite successful.

March 2022 my art „Clouds of Visions“ with 3 peaces went to a bureau in the „Paul Loebe house“, a German Parliament Building , for Madam Jana Schimke MP.

May 2022: First exhibition in the City of Berlin at the Gallery Gustav v. Hirschheydt, near Kurfürstendamm with 11 pictures.

December ‚22: Taking part there with 2 pictures in their Annual Exhibition of the Year.

The step into publik began 2017/18 with an auction – proceeds going to Rotary charity.

February 2023: A new charity auction -two of my paintings went to Rotary Club Wolsztyn, Poland.

April’23: Prevent Plastic Pollution – Exhibition in the City of Berlin with 13 pictures in the Gallery G.v.Hirschheydt about pollutions in the oceans- due to „Plastic Free Waters“

Mai’ 23: Prevent Plastic Pollution“ was shown in Poland at the inter country Conference in Stettin to international visitors.

September ’23: And street art again: „Lichtenrader Kunstfenster-event“ with three pictures
